Respite Care is a short-term care program designed to give family members a needed break from the extreme demands of caring for the chronically or terminally ill at home. If only for a weekend or a few weeks, patients are provided with a secure medical environment. Respite Care is provided at both our Skilled Nursing Facility and at “The Lodge”, Leewood’s Assisted Living facility.
